Alan McGuckin

Alan McGuckin is a self-described ‘blue-collar kid’ from the steel mill valleys of western PA. He brings that work ethic to a white-collar world, and simply said, it’s a formula that gets results.
While at the University of Oklahoma from 1992 -1995, “Guck” (as his closest friends call him) earned a Master’s degree in Fisheries Management, but he soon traded biology for the business side of fishing. He served a short but invaluable 21-month ‘marketing apprenticeship’ with GPS-Sonar manufacturer Lowrance Electronics where he befriended pretty much ‘everybody that is somebody’ in the fishing biz. Then, beginning in 1997, Alan helped take a ‘start-up’ lure company from an unknown in its infancy, onward to national popularity. More than 10-million premium priced Terminator Lures were sold in a 10-year span.
Alan’s greatest strength is his savvy for garnering brand exposure for the clients we represent via his public relations wisdom. Alan’s own writing and photography has recently appeared as both editorial and in ads within ESPN The Magazine, Bassmaster, BASS Times, The Drake, BassZone.com, BassFan.com, Bassmaster.com and many others.
